Who We Are

The Marce Gesellschaft is the German-speaking section of the International Marce Society for Perinatal Mental Health. It was founded in 2000 and is a cooperative member of the German Society for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Psychosomatics and Neurology (DGPPN). The associations of those affected and those professional groups that look after families during the peripartum period are integrated into society. The focus of our work is expanding knowledge about peripartum mental illnesses and their consequences, qualifying specialist, improving care offerings, and destigmatizing the illnesses.
